You CAN easily spend more time figuring out what mess it just made. Same for other developers. The art is not getting that far in either case.

No it's not. Suppose there's some code I need to write and I know how to do it but it would take me 10 minutes to type it out. An LLM can do it quickly.

I know whether it's good or not, I have tests to prove that. If it has a mistake I fix it, if it's completely wrong I throw it away.
