I saw Predator: Badlands with my brother @gmrez.bsky.social tonight. I really dug it; he was a bit more lukewarm. In any case, it's always nice to spend some time with my baby bro.

My step tracker app made me chuckle when I saw it as I punched out for lunch today. It was a bit of levity on an otherwise ho-hum day.

Colt shed his skin last night, so he's nice and shiny now. After checking him over to make sure it all came off, I thought that I'd keep him out for a bit and chill for a while after a rough week at work.

I tidied up Colt's crib today. We'll see how long it takes him to bulldoze it all down again. 🐍
A 5x2x2 PVC reptile enclosure housing a ball python and a whole bunch of artificial plants as decoration/enrichment in addition to the water bowl and hides. Everything has been freshly organized and spruced up. The python can be seen peeking out from behind the water bowl.

Dad's ashes are home, so there's no gravesite, but I got some flowers after work to put near his urn.

Today would have been Dad's 73rd birthday. He's been gone for almost seven years now, and the pain's never gone entirely away--and I suspect that it never will.

He loved Famous Amos cookies, so I got some after work. I'll have a few later tonight for him.
