Not THE Woz, just A Woz. We come in six packs. Favorite wrestler -- self-described "Bleeding Heart Liberal" Mick Foley. Favorite Team -- Buffalo Bills.

Am I incorrect in saying that if you go off puberty blockers, your genetic puberty hits you like a ton of bricks? I've always heard that's the case, and consider it a strong argument against 'irreversible'.

That's because it totally isn't. And it's a law that was passed to appease the South after Reconstruction.

This is exactly what needs to be done. I have a feeling this could get overturned but if it takes out Texas's BS at the same time, that's even BETTER -- I think red states are doing this because they're sure blue states won't respond in kind.

91st Burger King? (Pro tip, if you've ever used street names as a security question remember to fudge it here even for a joke. :P )

Well she's not wrong. If JD Vance and half or more of the Cabinet had any morals he'd be removed from office for that reason... but if they had any morals would they even be working for him?

See, the more we learn about this, the more I feel like there IS some 'there' there and there was some significant covering up, and MAYBE it was successful enough that the Garland DOJ missed it?
July 16, 2025 at 2:03 AM
What's frustrating AF is how it took me this long to realize that, even given how Garland was taking his time to move on January 6th and other topics, I feel like if he and the Biden-era FBI had files saying Trump was irrefutably implicated... they'd HAVE to act on that information.

That's exactly what I need to hear in the way I need to hear it... I just also need to hear people acknowledging "This is bad and we're only going to have the small victories some days".

What can we actually do? What pray tell will actually help? Lawsuits? With THAT Supreme Court? Complaining to our Rep? Mine is already a Dem. To our Senators? Tell me contacting Rick Scott or Ashley Moody is anything other than spitting in the wind. Do you get the depths of helplessness I feel here?
July 4, 2025 at 4:27 AM
Therefore it's very, very easy to fall into a certain kind of despair, anger or both that feels like "At this rate, more than 12 months before we can ACTUALLY do anything about this, how bad is it GOING to get?"
July 4, 2025 at 4:20 AM
I'm going to explain why I understand this feeling, while at the same time assure you I'm fighting it: The constant teasing that common sense will break out followed by the constant concessions and defeats is exhausting. It feels like we're losing ground day by day and month by month.

The question is "How does the Democratic Party do that when the Republican supporters have SO drunk the Kool Aid that a Republican nearly dies of the abortion law their party put into effect, she STILL blames the Democrats?"
June 30, 2025 at 4:13 AM
I think I know the concern about the optics; maybe the thought is that since an impeachment vote WOULD fail to even send it to the Senate, it would look to _some_ like the Dems are throwing impeachments at the wall until one sticks. I think not doing anything is like giving up.

I swear, when even a guy who is rigidly anti-comedy-characters like Corny who barely gets the appeal of Truth says "He's obviously hot, why let him walk _now_?" it's clear it was a bad idea to not renew him. But this ending was almost _too_ perfect? Except it wrote itself, so...

Well except for me this year. Why PC always seems to be 'last-gen' is beyond me. But I'm admittedly still getting the game because the _other_ improvements are making me interested (and for PC instead of PS5 because it's just more convenient for CAS and other creations. For me, anyway).

Honestly it's even concerning that you know what political view your Fidelity advisor has. But I do agree, if I found out even from context that my hypothetical Fidelity advisor was liberal (like I am) that I wouldn't be _disturbed_.

With the exceptions, nearly always, of the times that she has cover where her actions won't BLOCK him. She needs to grow a spine, so does Murkowski and nearly every other Republican Senator -- but I would settle for _five_ of them. Maybe 10 but that feels greedy.

This AFTER the Judge apparently didn't issue a stay because they couldn't prove 'lasting harm'.
February 19, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Thank you, sir. This is one of many reasons why I voted for you.

Oddly enough Linda McMahon has nearly the most relevant experience and the most ... displayed sanity of all his nominees (not counting on-camera angles). This is mostly a commentary on the entire rest of his Cabinet appointees. How is Gaetz the only one they've stopped so far?

Welcome, WSJ, to the “find out” phase of what you’ve been supporting all along.

I hope so. 5 vote minority in the House down to 2 due to GOP Reps being tapped for the cabinet (but 2 are VERY red districts), 3 vote minority in the Senate, down to 3 justices with one over the age of 70... the next two years are going to be tough with Dems picking battles.

He didn't even get a majority of the popular vote. I'm shocked he got a plurality, and it's still distressing that about 30 percent of all possible voters chose to vote for the guy, but that still means 70% hate him or are, somehow, indifferent.

I'll admit it. Regarding Teslas on the road, I only make that assumption about drivers of the Deplorean.
