Tysm! I really liked the pattern. The directions are clear and the pieces go together nicely. My only gripe is that the pattern doesn't have color labels, so I was going back and forth between the color map and piece map a lot. But the artist also suggests coloring them yourself as another option.

Isn't he the cutest? I've called myself a book dragon for a while so the pattern is perfect. I think I'm going to attempt a spooky colorway for a Halloween dragon next.

Thank you! I actually didn't pick the other fabrics until after the zipper. I'm definitely a design as you go kind of crafter rather than having a whole plan from the beginning :) I'm in love with all the purple

I had to get a little crafty with cutting to keep the scale small. The second lightest teal has big Star Wars X wings and R2-D2 all over that I had to carefully cut around to make it work. Lavender seems to be the consensus!

I usually do too. I do the trick of turning your camera to grayscale to show the value more clearly and that helps a lot. But most of my color picking success is pure luck.

I need to better about them. Skills improve so slowly, it's hard to notice in the moment. But put things together almost a decade apart (😵) and the improvement is wild.
