Seriously, the setting is AMAZING for someone like myself who’s brain will manage to forget to actually write the alt text the second I’m done typing my post up despite actively thinking about doing the alt text the whole time. Had it on since I started being active on here.

Block is changing soon If your posts are set to public, accounts you have blocked will be able to view them, but they will not be able to engage. If your posts are set to public, accounts you have blocked will be able to view them, but they will not be able to engage (like, reply, repost, etc.). Today, block can be used by users to share and hide harmful or private information about those they’ve blocked. Users will be able to see if such behaviour occurs with this update, allowing for greater transparency.
