I reported on economics for one (1) year. Everything I learned about it—from data on corporate pay penalties for mothers, co-pays for births, and lack of federal policies on issues like childcare or paid leave—loudly indicated there was little to no incentive for me to have children in the US.

Along with the legend of Sisyphus, I am also getting a lot of mileage out of my obsession with Calhoun's rat utopia experiments.
My Dr. said I have biopsy findings consistency with a specific thing, but none of my symptoms match. "Well if you have symptoms, take some antihistamines. Oh, you already do? Guess that's that then." Even though there's, like, two or three other related things that could possibly give that result
Every time I see a story about a person getting checked into a hospital and they run a bunch of tests to figure out the time-sensitive thing wrong with them I have a hard time believing it because I can go to the doctor with like, my organs on the outside and the doctor’s like “you’re probably fine”

Wear a mask when dusting your computer, friends. Do not be me, wondering for half the day why your sinuses are angry before you Remember (at least I hope that's all it is)

Okay, so I'm a bit behind with tech. My best understanding is that Copilot takes data from Office 365 files. Would it be capable of scraping files housed on hard drive and not through the cloud, such as files worked on through third party software?

Decided to try rereading some of my old classics from AP classes. I like it much more when not analyzing it to hell and back (that should start happening on the fifth read, minimum)

Don't have a timer for this app yet. Do you think I'd get bomb threats and swatted if I made a Trans Jesus onlyfans? Because it's making me giggle how mad I could make people

So far the hardest part of the guitar has been sheet music. Like, I can get there but there's so many stumbles on these practice pieces. And that's frustrating. I haven't had a challenge like this in a while. Sometimes, you just have to take a break and come back to it though

Ooooh, finally getting around to playing with my H4N mic. It sounds gooood. Time to maybe possibly record some aesthetic stuff, if I can get control of the ambient noise from the roommate's fish tank

They danced and drank and made merry, for the world was a waste of their own design. Blind eyes couldn't see the beast named Torment as it chased them to their unwitting end.

-sigh- I might need to bring the new bike into a shop to get it tuned initially. I've gotten it mostly fixed up re:derailleur. But for the life of me I can't get it on the smallest rear cog without fucking up everything else or taking out an entire screw that's supposed to stay

UGH! I'm getting past the first really difficult part in my guitar book. Like, I'm getting there, but it jumped in difficulty because my hands are small and my fingers don't stretch, so shifting it is

I am two lessons into the guitar book... already thinking about music theory because I know it'll make more sense when I can match it to movement/sound. The tism pattern recognition is revving up lmao

You ever just... go back to read your own poetry and end up bawling your eyes out? And then wonder why you keep convincing yourself it's not worth sharing with the world?? Obviously it's fear, but like, also the format in which I want to share it. Too much work, not enough time..

-sigh- I will be good. I will do conditioning that's light on my hand for four(4) more weeks. I will give myself time to heal. I will hopefully do so before I might have to poison myself. (daily affirmations)

On the plus side I did not wake up with my hand more sore than when I went to bed. Progress??

Wow!! So apparently the difference between a cheap WalMart mountain bike and a street bike is, like, five minutes and half the effort. Even the hill was a pleasant ride!!
