Finished these cute little moon guys for my adventure game last night. I wanted to make this dungeon all about reflecting projectiles, but have limited assets. So I turned this monster into rotating fireball engine.

I always struggle bringing a macro vision into the micro game screen. I want the area to have watery vibes, but not every section has water. So adding puddles to avoid and rocks to walk across is my next goal.
TODO: Make walking interesting and the ground has to have watery vibes!

It's been a long while since I showed some progress on the vibrant swampy area of Star Fable. This is the second open area of the game, so it's important to have plenty of hidden goodies.

Last night was all about the Water Ways. My technical goal for the area is splashy footsteps. My gameplay goal is hidden areas behind waterfalls!
We're making the jump from pencil and paper to tile grid for this area.

Star Fable started development 2 years ago. My daughter loves Zelda like games so we had the great idea to make our own. One that was princess focused. We've done so much work, but it still feels so far from complete. #GameDev #StarFable #Adventure #Zeldalike
