The further thing is this was all entirely predictable too. In fact, it *was* explicitly predicted: Utd just don't have the squad to play Amorim's system. 1000s of people said this when he was hired. It's a bad squad, but especially for what he wants. Everyone saw this coming.
Amorim is doing a terrible job, and the damning thing is that it’s generally a problem with the structure he’s completely committed to. They just constantly can’t deal with defenders having to jump out into midfield (today because Casemiro was effectively left alone, which he just can’t do).
