Just a fun furry bunny person from the 1980s. Pan, Poly, Genderfluid
Bonus post for my last daily post I got from JesusBot:

This is actually a decent answer. If only.

some final thoughts.

Note the Gish Gallop technique. Since I'm a freebie user, Jesus gets to go on for pages whilst I am limited to questions of about the length I posted.

Impossible to actually converse with this app. The moneychangers are well and truly upon the temple mount it seems.

I didn't accuse TextJesus of playing favorites. I accused him of advocating a double standard, which is not quite the same thing. One might have a double standard because you favor one side, yes, but also one might do so because one is demonstrably insane or capricious.

"not the same as wholehearted approval of every limited remedy" why were they limited? This is GOD, the tetragrammaton made manifest. Why limit himself? Is he incapable of bringing his *CHOSEN PEOPLE* to understand? What a pathetic little thing I am asked to worship.

Furthering the argument that god compromises with reality. We'll address that one in the next post.

"They were not always the final word about what god desired" why not? Why would god hide his intentions? Why does GOD, YHWH, El-Shaddai, Al-Adonai have to compromise with SHIT? He doesn't compromise with OTHER peoples.

This one caught me off guard, I'll confess. I would never have heard the primacy of the victim's will and dignity in a Baptist or Catholic church sermon or homily. Kudos for that much.

However, I have serious issues with anyone who claims a supposed supreme deity must "compromise" with anything.

Immediate prevarication and context-seeking, which again is necessary in analyzing ancient cultures, but the Bible isn't a historical guide to ancient cultures, it claims to be a moral guideline, and in this case it is clearly stating this is a moral result given by god himself. Fatuous fluffery.

Not the worst start, to be fair. It calls the text "difficult" (it isn't, but that's another matter), but at least tries to grapple with the complexity of the issue.

Bloody Snow, the Winternight (one of the serial killer epithets he acquired in BG), later as he embraces his Paladin of the Ancients path more fully, he changes it to The Winter Knight.

Saw this panel in a 2000AD Judge Dredd comic and thought you might get some mileage out of it.
