Italians have always been weird about death. Romans paid for gladiators to fight at tombs for funerals. Apparently my extended family used to pay for mourners which is a super old country thing where you don't cry but you pay women to howl and sob for you while you disassociate. Idk lotta questions

I feel like this shouldn't be a hot take but it 100% is apparently: Good Will Hunting is a cringe movie that has not held up well at all. The screenplay is bad and not even two of the greats like Stellan Skarsgård and Robin Williams can salvage that trainwreck.

The biggest difference between the Star Trek and Star Wars universe is the vastness of space and spatial sprawl. Star Wars feels like it's set in "a galaxy far far away" only because the text told you so.... The audience sees like 5 planets that matter. Star Trek is endless exploration & wonder.

I think there's a grave need for IT spaces like bike shops. So much that's wrong with tech has been rooted in displacement of administration of services into large corporations and closed ecosystems. Facebook is big not because it's good but because websites and email are so hard.

I just fixed the email servers for my small nonprofit choir. Sometimes computering can be nice when you're helping peeps. Idk how normal people are supposed to fix mx records and shit, like these people are musicians?? No idea how small orgs manage domains without 1 person knowing wtf is going on

During 2020 when I protested outside the white house, the national guard just sat in tanks. This time they might use them. The black masked, unlabeled military police did advance though and it took me more than a year to fully recover from brain damage. I am worried for DC right now. Time to fight.
