Mone Chiba 🇯🇵 Love that held exit from the Axel. Such great flow. I wish she didn’t look quite so worried going into each jump, I worry it gives them something to look for. Another great program. I wish maybe for just a little more energy to match the music? ⛸️

Amber Glenn 🇺🇸 This costume and styling are fantastic. Triple axel good! She also looks a little slow today? But this program works for her so well. It’s composed so well. I was worried at first. It was going to all be slow tempo, but it picked up at just the right spot. ⛸️

It was good! I’m not the biggest Bradie fan but that felt well composed and authentic to her, and had nice choreo.

SO many repeats. Which I’m not usually completely opposed to, but I feel like this year there’s too many and they’re done with the intent of trying to keep it easy. Some of the repeats don’t feel strong enough to repeat anyway.

Bradie Tennell 🇺🇸 Looks kind of slow today? Program suits her. She is the only one I’ve ever felt really grew under Benoit. She’s just some much more graceful and emotive in this latter half of her career, which is nice to see. ⛸️

I just feel like every season she spends half of it struggling with a new program and halfway through goes back to an old one, and I start to wonder if she just struggles to work with new material or doesn’t have good range.

Madeline Schizas 🇨🇦 I’m a Lion King program hater except for Wakaba and 8 year olds. And the music arrangement for this one is especially weird. This kind of burnt orange looks very nice on her though. She’s performing it really well but it still feels gimmicky. ⛸️

Oh yes his is TERRIBLE. Lorine’s blue is so severe, and I spend time wondering if it’s a jumpsuit or the worlds shortest tightest skirt or shorts of leggings. And I really hate the leggings/pants anyway.

Lorine Schild 🇫🇷 This has been such a strong season for her. She gets into the program really well. I still really hate the costume a lot. Enough that it makes it harder to appreciate everything she’s doing well. But strong skate. ⛸️

It really is. I didn’t watch but saw the results of the men’s short. 😬

Rion Sumiyoshi 🇯🇵 Love the skirt, don’t know about the top. Lovely music, I feel like she was using her arms a little angular and stiff for it. Great projection though, nice big choreo without looking overdone SPOKE TOO SOON, fell in the step seq. So maybe a little overdone. 😩 Lovely otherwise. ⛸️

Such a rough short, I didn’t even clock that she didn’t get a combo in at all. 😩

That seemed low? Even with the unders? Interesting how underrotation really hamper some people (women) and not others (Grassl).

Rino Matsuike 🇯🇵 Interesting she’s using past free skate music for her short. Love the dress. Love that lunge thing she does into that circular motion in the step seq. Wish it had more build but beautifully skated. Oh dear, did her back cramp up? ⛸️

Loena Hendrickx 🇧🇪 Hilarious that she’s skating to Celine Dion’s Deadpool song. Says something about how stacked this field is that she’s in the first group. OH NO. Oh poor Loena. Step seq 4 though! ⛸️

Iida Karhunen 🇫🇮 She looks so young. Interesting varied choreo, not sure if I like it but it’s different. Impressive layback spin positions. ⛸️
