Typo Queen, figure skating fan, cat enthusiast, lover of red rocks, spends too much time in Skyrim, and down to argue with 90s sitcom characters. Was Thomas_comma_S on Twitter.
This is the number of singles skaters on the GP who used these choreographers, not whether or not they choreographed one or both programs. There were also three skaters who listed themselves, and one who used another current skater as a choreographer. Interesting to me that there are so many Benoit-

Update: Cat bed complete! Kind of a pain to assemble. Excuse the lack of vacuuming, she loves cardboard scratchers and gets bits everywhere and at some point you just give up.

It was some very uncooperative cardboard but it’s finished!

Driving home I could actually see the outline of the mountain in the dark against the faint pink. This far south!

Faint glow of northern lights in northern Utah right now. 🤩

This mug of apple cider won’t fix the fact that everything is bad and getting worse and I might not be able to have health insurance any more, but it might make me forget about it for a hot second.

I love her so much. (Sorry for my brother’s YT audio in the background) ⛸️

Wolfkostin/Tsarevski 🇺🇸 His pants are super distracting. Do you think everyone legit thought they were being clever when they picked Backstreet Boys? Unfortunately I didn’t see much because this was my view for the first half of the skate. ⛸️

October stack! Stuck with a spooky theme. Hard to pick a favorite. It might be The Haunting of William Thorn by Ben Alderson, but I’m conflicted about the ending (I still recommend it!). It’s either that though or Practical Potions and Premeditated Murder by Wren Jones. But I liked them all!

The cat says to try putting a D20 in a cardboard cat bed for endless fun.

Again, WHAT IS WITH ICE DANCE THIS SEASON

Is the ISU just trying to gaslight everyone now?

My Halloween playlist, plus Frank Sinatra’s Witchcraft, which didn’t fit in the last pic. I feel like I’m probably missing some really obviously ones, but been happy with the overall mood. (Except I think I’ve decided I Fortuna doesn’t really fit, so that might go)

For someone who doesn’t listen to the Runthrough regularly (yet)- do they make their picks to be funny, or do they just not actually follow skating? Maybe I’m not understanding what they’re trying to do here. 😂

Anyone know what kind of spider this is? We get a lot of them (especially in the summer), and I’d love to know if it’s something I need to be concerned about either for people or pets. Spider subreddit didn’t give me any replies. Funko pop for scale.

September stack. Favorite of the month was Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury, which was a re-read from high school or college). Favorite of the new reads was The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association by Caitlin Rozakis. I liked the whole group, good fall vibes!

Trying to be happy for those who made it while being mad about the ones that didn’t.

Her favorite new game is for me to put a marker on the edge of her desk bed, and then she knocks it off, and then we repeat forever.

And that’s all for me tonight, but someone is very engaged in watching the zambonis. ⛸️

Local Wendy’s is going through it.

August book stack. Yikes. This is the smallest number of books I read in a month since January. I blame the fact that I was spending time on some projects and a new Stardew Valley playthrough. My favorite of these four was Legendary by Stephanie Garber.

Fucking disaster. I’m going to cry at work. No vision insurance and my prescription is now a couple years out of date, so I’m about to have to have an eye exam and the get new sunglasses frames AND all new lenses for my regular glasses too. And I work outside right now, in the stupid sun. 😭

I recommend this book! It’s especially fun among cryptid books because it also makes a point to tell you whether or not the cryptid in question has a dedicated festival in its hometown (it is now my goal to go to the Mothman Festival).
