Well, looky here! This is from the 2026 coverage changes booklet I just received from Aetna/Silver Script prescription coverage insurance (medicare supplemental insurance). Our premiums are going up a little over 50% which is just over an additional $100 per month for two of us. Yikes!😱

Mumps is another preventable disease with devastating complications for adults and children. The info I've attached is from the CDC website. Our society will suffer immensely and needlessly if we stop getting our kids and ourselves vaccinated. Stopping vaccines is NOT MAHA.

tRump is a petty , vindictive piece of 💩. The original rose garden (shown below) was designed by a landscape architect and installed by President Kennedy to honor Jackie Kennedy. It was truly a beautiful place.

This is a barred owl. He was a regular visitor at our bird feeders when we lived on Whidbey Island in WA. S/He was there to cause some trouble so had to be gently shoo shooed whenever s/he came.

We are dog (Candy)people but we have a grand kitty (Sparky) that we babysit when our daughter is travelling. And I love the cat memes on Bluesky because they are so funny and usually make me laugh.
