I’ve seen more organized grid searches by kids looking for eggs on Easter

If I don’t immediately go to the kitchen and hang them on the hook on the side of the fridge I’m in BIG trouble. Thankfully, if they aren’t there they’re usually in my vest pocket. Yes, I wear ‘puffer’ vests (the non-puffy kind). Refuse to carry a purse. This response has now gone off the rails.

As a lawyer (insurance coverage for the first half), watching the unprecedented response on social media has me highly intrigued about what any jury is going to do. The law is the law, but… 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just finished this a couple days ago and was entranced! Went in fairly blind and was sucked in quickly. I loved the world-building, which was a perfect level of complexity (ahem, fairly low) and wasn’t ruined by my aphantasia brain. And the Acknowledgments were so incredibly sweet.

My mom had that one! She loved to cook for an event, but daily was a grind. Not sure how much she referenced it or whether the name just stuck with me.
