Had a fun date with my BFF. We found a huge dragon poop splatter (probably goose from on high) and spit on it so the dragon knew we were bonded and it was on our side. Fought some bad dragons. Then roasted marshmallows on the resulting fire. Victory was ours.

There are rarely days I don’t feel like I could lose some lbs, then there are mornings I wake up, extricate myself from bed, look back, know I slept in there, and feel pretty good about myself.

Had a convo here about the name Geoff the other day and now my For You feed is full of posts by Geoffs, which is warming the cold cockles of my heart since my dad was a Geoff. Also reminds me of this Nate Bargatze SNL snippet, which I had to send to my brother, also Geoff.

Not the best time to listen to this book, one of the most depressing works I’ve ever read. It’s hard to believe in the good of men, when the treatment of those they purport and are supposed to love most, mothers, wives, children, is so horrific and demeaning. It’s gonna take a lot of rye to cleanse

I (1) am not really into ‘cozy’ TV; (2) did not watch the original MATLOCK; and (3) have an aversion to reboots. For some reason, prob Kathy Bates’s badassery, I pulled up the premiere the other night and was super pleasantly surprised. Anyone else watching?
