I think as a logo I prefer the first. The second one looks quite nice too when viewed in isolation, however I do think that it may look a bit too chaotic when used in a context that has a lot of other visual stuff going on.

I always need to look up the pattern syntax for match statements when I use them. I love pattern matching, but I don't use it often enough to remember the exact way to write them
