Levy had a hungry young manager, a once in a lifetime forward and several other highly talented players. Arsenal were years behind. He could have dared to do but he chose inaction. We’ve gone backwards ever since and Arsenal are now years ahead. He’s shown us who he is. He will not change.

It’s not even about Ange. It’s about what the club do to help him get where he wants to take us. Even if we endure lack of tactical sacrifices, stubbornness with drilling his philosophy. We are beyond the repeated cycle of sacking/hiring. This is the end game. If we don’t get past it we never will.

There is so much work needed at Spurs. Are we going to pretend to be surprised by this? 4/5 years seasons of mis-steps, bad appointments. We do need to see tangible progress though. Ange needs the third season but the club (Lange/Munn/Levy) have to level up in the summer window. No excuses.

I feel like there’s such a lack of narrative about how many injuries we have. Dragusin - who I don’t think suits us tbh - called an “experienced defender” by Redknapp - he’s 22. Played under 100 appearances in his career.

Logically, not sure what else we could expect today. LFC much better close up than I have seen too. But the issues are very clear, to anyone. Injuries, lack of depth and a midfield that I’m not sure is good enough.
