i've come to the realization, that if you drive and agree with a 20mph limit, can impose it on everyone driving behind you regardless what your local cllrs want :-)

I also think some people just can't imagine that someone would mock motorists.

it is pretty quick to use an AI to write a letter of complaint, and submit one on the bbc website. Took less than a minute.

Apparently 6% of cycle to work scheme users spend over the £2k and the total amount it will save is £43m or about the same as 1 military helicopter. It's not serious policy. Especially if you strip out adapted cycles and cycles set up for transporting kids.

actually though, if they were going to put fuel duty up, I'd say fair enough we all have tighten our belts and live with it
