The quarrelling lovers are too distracted by their argument to notice that Gladys' cauldron is bubbling furiously, and the water has already begun pouring over the edges to start flooding the room. As the image descends vertically the scene shifts into the cold, dark, open ocean. The space is only occupied by Gladys' seemingly lifeless body floating upside-down. Her right eye has been gouged out, and blood pours out in an erratic trail into the sea. I'm very excited to share the piece I created for this year's edition of @windowtoworlds.bsky.social, now available for free download!
A tarot-inspired illustration of my D&D character, Etienne, a half-elven dhampir man. He is dressed smartly in dark trousers and waistcoat and a white shirt, stained at the neck and wrist with blood. He holds a cup at an angle, pouring blood from it. The card it is referencing is the 8 of Cups.

Shelby and Marlowe face off against some kind of monster together, Shelby raising a magical-looking rainbow shield, and Marlowe casting a spell that sends beams of light dancing around the canvas.
