If you bring in greenhouse gas emissions, however, then you have to prove that wind power meaningfully reduces them. And you must also factor in the costs of industrial-scale wind's own harms.

#PSA: These are water pumps. They are also called windmills because the wind causes the blades to "mill", turning machinery inside, whether to grind grain, pump water, or generate electricity.
