just like they call the situation in Ukraine a "conflict" rather than an invasion.... and as for Gaza, they aren't using the proper nouns for that either. It's not a "humanitarian crisis" it's genocide.

actually, just the other day I learned about the 'sarcastrophe' a punctuation mark that of course will be ^utterly useless^ in this current era.
And there it was lurking right there on the keyboard for all these years [shift + 6 on a standard QWERTY].
