Yesterday I had my first skateboarding lesson. I managed to ride fakie (going backwards) properly, do a 180 kickturn, drop-in, and pump the bowl (going back and forth). It's amazing how much progress you can make with a little help.

Probably a good reminder to myself and others that if you have a public facing repo for demo purposes, having a contributing file and updated README does wonders.
A GitHub repo of mine that I use for AKS learning got some PRs which I suspect were raised in error, but I've added a contributing file clarifying that while I'm not accepting contributions today, you're free to fork your own and go nuts in your own repo: github.com/willvelida/m...
