Anyone tried baking with einkorn flour?
My bread is so dense and chewy...is it supposed to be like that? Tasty though.

Post the first video game you ever played

I'm 30, but I lived somewhere where tech took 5-10 ish years to trickle to. I'm surpringly familiar with a lot of "retro" tech.

Dangerous Dave (1990) was probably a pirated copy on a cd that had ~1000 games on. It was 2002 ish.

Saw this meme today.

"Who are we?" --"GARDENERS!"

"What do we want? --"ALL THE PLANTS!"

"Where will we put them? --"WE DON'T KNOW!"

My old college professor once said
"We're all deaf. We have to feel truth."

He said that we can't seem to hear truth directly, but that we can sometimes hear it with stories, by being loved, or by feeling convicted of something deeply true.

Just discovered I'm lactose intolerant and also allergic to SOME mystery thing in commercially made bread.

This feels unfair!

FINE THEN. [...getting out my bread machine determined to make better bread than the stupid store anyway...]

Happy St. Patrick's day (the Irish guy who worked tirelessly to free slaves!)

I just had a weird open-faced roast beef on rock-hard rye bread with some Swiss cheese, smoked sea salt, and wasabi (out of horseradish). Really good!

On February 28th 7 planets will all line up in the night sky, 4 of them to the naked eye.
This won't happen again for a decade.
So get out there shortly after sunset on Friday!
