Fact is that this nation has been a racist/sexist/fascist/oligarchy hell hole for the vast majority of its history. The progress made in my lifetime was culturally significant but an economic failure. We have been mollified while the obscenely wealthy boil us.

I'm here fighting for my kids everyday in the ways I know how. I'm here trying not to get sick (again) because my stupid immune system is shot and exposed to everything. Because while people think we all should be running for boards, some of us are one paycheck away from not making rent.

Hell, I can't even get into a living history group without the right connections and certainly don't have time to rejoin a guild. There is literally only so much of me to go around. Right now, I'm there for your relatives that have dementia and health problems.

And ftr, I wasn't trying to be funny. Many of those books are actually dangerous.

My thinking was that it might make a point. But you are right.

In other words, any books that are among the most popular, most well-read, and most diverse available in these categories.

Seriously, I hope the librarians go overboard and put away books that push the agenda of the far right based on exactly what they claim the other books are going away for.
