I had same thought earlier. Until I was homeless, I had no idea what real poverty was in uk, & thought it only applied to “poor countries” that I saw on tele in 80s & 90s. Was a wake up call & STILL took me years to stop being arrogant type of ‘well I did XYZ so everyone else should’ #StillLearning
