Teens have had fun decorating their advent calendars. This was an absolute bargain and I’m super excited about seeing them again next year!!
(Middle one is using a more intricate design idea so is taking longer but we never intended for them to be rushed)

Treated myself to a mini lie in after waking at 5:30. The cats were not impressed and gave me the angry eyes because their bowls were still empty at 7:07 despite the fact I was awake 🤦🏽‍♀️

Waiting for the carnival parade to start. Kids actually made it on to the floats this year so Asher is wearing the same camo print as them (they are toy soldiers) in solidarity.

#Lifeling3 and I have been very busy this morning putting together the new cheap bookcase (this has desperately been needed since she took the more solid one to her bedroom)
I am leaving her to restock the shelves.

Four siblings sitting on the steps of a font following the youngest child’s baptism Text on page reads: this beautiful picture is from Reena Life (@willowade) who writes " I have many fave moments but below, the picture of all the Lifelings together is what I think encompasses everything for us as all the children were baptised at that font and each of them have memories of their own baptisms. For me it represents the family within the church that made me feel I belonged there from the moment I stepped through the doors. We were originally only planning on doing our baptism preparation locally and wanted to have the event elsewhere but St Stephen made us feel as though this is where we were called to be and it set off a domino of events for the rest of our lives. The more I learned about the church's history and that of our founder, the more it felt right that we were here.

My daughter bought me tickets to see Wicked The Musical at the Apollo for my Xmas pressie. Six months on, we have finally been. Despite living on the same road as the show for almost twenty years, I’d never actually seen it 🙈
Enjoyed a couple of Wicked cocktails before the show

I often get cross with myself for not moving faster on my #knitting projects. Until I pick up my needles and remember why. Got the dog sitting on my work and the cats trying to steal the yarn 😩
