I’m an economist working in accounting/finance. I’m one of the founders of Citizen’s Voice and will be writing about culture, politics, tech, and whatever else comes to mind. Also rabbits, also cats.
Not to be conspiratorial or anything, but Trump being at a highly public event and having Hegseth do all the work means there’s a nice fall guy when things go bad.

Make no mistake.
ICE has been flaunting their unlawful behaviors since the very beginning of this admin.
They WANTED a reaction from CA and other D states.
They want an excuse, they want death. All an excuse to take more freedoms away.

I did a deep dive into the case of Luigi Mangione and the CEO of United Healthcare Brian Thompson.
Here’s what I learned:
- the assassination of business leaders/CEOs is very rare. The last attempt on a CEO I could find was Henry Frick, chairman of Carnegie Steel

Hello everyone, I’m working on an article about how statistics are misused in public discourse today (and have been for a long time). Just wanted to see if anyone had some suggestions of bad polling questions to look at, news articles, or any sort of historical misuse (think phrenology)?

Tired of partisan politics dividing us? Civilism puts power back in the hands of the people.

Citizen panels propose solutions, politicians enact them, and decisions are transparent & accountable.

It’s time for collaboration, not conflict. Let’s rethink governance. 🌍 #Civilism

Partisan politics divides us, erodes trust, and blocks real solutions. What if we had the power to shape policy?

My latest article explores #Civilism: a system where citizens lead, collaborate, and hold politicians accountable.

Let’s rethink democracy.

I will die on the hill of loving Amazon. They bring prices down and are way more environmentally friendly than peers like Walmart and Target.

One crazy point about the YouGov poll. For sources of news, the number one social media platform is Facebook. 42% of GenZ gets news from Facebook!

I feel like this whole Mexico invasion thing is just manufactured to discredit leaks coming from the Trump circle.
That seems much more likely to me than Trump actually planning to invade Mexico.

Just made my third Substack post! I wanted to discuss how everything is expected to be unveiled as a completed process nowadays, so I did!

George Washington warned against partisanship’s dangers: division, bad government, and despotism. From Rome to today’s divisions, history echoes his fears. Who benefits from deepening divides? Learn more: open.substack.com/pub/williamf...

My second Substack post, this one goes over how our institutions incentivize polarization and tear us apart. This was predicted by Washington over 300 years ago.

We're fighting for a pragmatic, liberal, and pro-abundance future for the Democratic Party that can restore voter's faith in the party's ability to govern.

There's no better time than now to join us by becoming a member of the Center for New Liberalism:

Doing research and I found an interesting statistic. Can you guess the percent of journalists who have a college education? Bonus points if you can guess the rate in 1971. Answer in comments.

Everyone knows that New Liberals is all about worms. We had the perfect candidate in RFK Jr., and then he had to go and get it removed from his brain.

Is there a prohibition on saying X or Twitter? Ppl really be acting like it’s the Dark Lord equivalent to social media apps. It doesn’t get more powerful the more you say it…

Does it?
