We sent a letter to the Prov. Police Chief after protesters at Butler Hospital were issued noise citations for $500 — more than the City ordinance allows.
We urged him to rescind any tickets issued with inaccurate information, and to ensure officers know the actual penalties for such violations.

This letter was sent to the Providence Police Chief asking him to rescind citations that were issued to protesters outside Butler Hospital that provided clearly inaccurate and misleading information.
