Williams Lake Conservation Company (Nova Scotia)
@williamslakecc.org
The WLCC was founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Sept 27, 1968 in order to promote the health of Williams Lake and its watershed for the benefit of all. Everyone who shares this objective is welcome as a member. https://williamslakecc.org/membership/
Colleen Jone's CBC item was shared widely on social media and drew much needed attention to the fallling levels at Williams Lake. Her efforts were in no small part responsible for the public awareness that has resulted in the work now being taken to replace the failing dam. /1
