Hare brained idea to make my new microfiber cloth dispenser design quickly and cheaply skin-able without reprinting the whole main 150g unit worked perfectly. Gives me ideas for v2 of my tissue box design, too. #3Dprinting

I’ll publish it sometime this week. I want to get a few more textures ready.

I made a new thing for cycling through microfiber cloths. #3Dprinting

I was trying re-use the pendant from the smaller camera. I have some bigger stronger magnets that I think would work, but they'd add almost 10mm to the thickness. It's not really an "action camera" set up, so I'm going to try with the path of least resistance and just experiment with a lanyard.

So the actual goal was to use magnets so that the pendant could be used under a shirt, and the camera attached over the shirt. Works great with the tiny camera, but the 360 camera is just too heavy. So, either would need to design a custom pendant and or try another approach.

The answer is no. But also the center of gravity is just too unforgiving so it’s back to the drawing board. #3DPrinting

I'm going to find out if 4 little 6mm magnets are enough to hold up my expensive new 360 camera. Wish me luck. #3Dprinting #insta360

Anyone interested in the story of the time I fell in the water while shooting a wedding? #weddingphotography www.instagram.com/reel/DNoiwnf...

Now it’s a trash can. I should get into fishing or something. These models have ruined my life. #3Dprinting

Surely there is no reason this won't print without supports. Surely. #3Dprinting

This new studded leather one looks awesome.

This is truly my dumbest model yet. #3dprinting

Oh yeah, it's also a piggy bank now, so that's neat.

I finished the first round of the #halloween collection a handful of people asked for. It's amazing how much time I will waste doing something mostly pointless if just one or two internet strangers imply that they think I'm special. 😅 #3Dprinting #makerworld makerworld.com/en/models/17...

Somebody want to print out the new handle-lid for the Halloween themed varieties? Thinking they’d make good trick-or-treat pales but would like some second opinions on durability. #3dprinting

Alright, we got bats. That was stupid.

I stayed up way too late working on this stupid halloween bats design and I still hate it. #3dprinting #blender

Wtf is going on in my back yard. Bailey chases off a cat stalking this bunny. Then I chase of Bailey taking too much interest in said bunny. Terrified bunny lets me move them someplace safe. Bunny #3 has entered the chat.

Bailey found a rabbit nest and brought us two of the very tiny bunnies. So now we’re apex predator moms trying to nurse some prey animals back to health.

I got two separate messages on Makerworld asking for halloween themed versions of the tissue boxes. This is my life now. Okay, so before I go burning 180g+ of filament, is this stupid? Does this work for the halloween vibe or is it too subtle? #3dprinting

It would be my 128th birthday. I get a notification from MakerWorld. I climb out of my coffin, open Blender. Apply a vintage plaid texture to a plastic cylinder, update the model listing. Print. Take a picture. Update listing. Go back to being dead. #3dprinting makerworld.com/en/models/11...

I'm honestly afraid at this point that the only noteworthy thing I've ever done, and ever will do, in my life are these stupid tissue boxes. Anyway, people keep asking for new ones so I guess I'll keep making them. #3Dprinting makerworld.com/en/models/11...

I have a client who needed a way to define their geographic service zones based on zip code boundaries, so I came up with an app that would do the calculations and define the zones automatically based on distance ranges. Works really well. Exports to JSON. Saved them like $200/year. 🎉 #webdev
