I enjoyed Alien: Earth, but the cyberpunk megacorporations and their supervillain bosses were boring. I have more fun imagining what the Alien story would be like if Weyland-Yutani were a realistic corporation, screwed up in all the normal corporate ways. williammoss.substack.com/p/in-space-n...

Hey, San Francisco people! This is Clementine, who was rescued by my niece a few months ago. She’s 9 months old, a touch shy around new people, but gorgeous and playful, with some kitten energy. But they have two cats already, so she needs a permanent home! Just look at her! DM for more.

I used an offhand remark someone made about my recent attendance at an Oasis concert to go down a rabbit hole on the durability of Nazi iconography as a pop culture signaling mechanism because I am weird that way. williammoss.substack.com/p/triumph-of...

By the way, here's what the kid in that photo, my son, looks like now, which makes me want to cry. People tell you "they grow up so fast," which sounds like an empty cliche until your kid is on the threshold of adulthood, and you're, like, holy shit, how did that happen?
