Even without the lock the tacoed rear wheel is kinda a deal breaker.

That picture show what appears to be a third rail. Normally that's what they do for electric trains where they don't have overhead wires.

From what I understand,at his height, Hitler a max of 33% support of the German people.

Ok, sorry (kinda) for the cynicism.

When ever someone is kissing my ass I ask "what the fuck do you want"!

@gander22h.bsky.social every system is based on good will. Even if you believe in a higher power, they will not come down here and fix what we have sucked up. It's pRt of that free will thing.

I bet he has to replace his shoes daily.

Though I think the city should fix the brakes on the truck if the guy on the back has to do a Fred Flintstone to stop it.

Yeah, I agree. She was my choice, and I would support her again.

15 years ago I watched as a border patrol agent question a pregnant Vancouver woman who was going to Seattle for lunch with family. She was denied entry to the US.

I am not saying it's right I am just guessing at the reasoning.

Don't forget Musk over stayed his visa. But he's rich so it's ok.

That's kinda sad.

I can see a "red flag" in the story. She was going to visit a fertility clinic. Boarder patrol is probably afraid of her giving birth in the US.

Does anyone other than Musk Bots use Twitter anymore?

Adam. If we had a Parliament, like you, rather than congressional system. I would bet there would be massive calls for a new election.

Sadly we have no mechanism for a do over.

I keep having IRL conversations that that give me serious doubt on wether the tally of last election was accurate.

Actually the local ski resorts open this weekend. They have been making snow for a couple weeks. But I haven't skied local in 30 years. They are just bowling alleys.

Today's high will be 21c. Monday it will be 25c (77f).

I have to mow my lawn today.

Wilful ignorance is a major problem these days.
December 5, 2025 at 3:29 PM
Ok, I won't complain about today's weather here...

I use to come home from working 10 hours in a factory, grab my horn and lose track of time.

Guys in Sunday morning garage bands aren't hating life on Sunday mornings.

Humans, at least creatives, are driven to create. It's their core

This Shuiman guy is just projecting himself on everyone else.

Absolutely true.

On the bright side. The ski lifts will be empty this season.

Unfortunately the Americans that really need to feel the pain are the uber wealthy. They will gobble up even more wealthy, pennies on the dollar.

If the average American worker demands regime change he will declare martial law and declare himself emperor

But I am out of better ideas.

That 30% that is staying home or going elsewhere is having a major effect on the hospitality industry. That is an industry that operates on thin margins, and any blip can cause business failures.

The impact on the overall US economy will me huge.
