The final coloured artworks for Changing Histories Expanding Worlds c.1600-c.1870 are coming in from the artists. Bringing textbook pages to life is one of my favourite parts of my job. Beautiful illustrations like these work in harmony with the rich text to help build worlds.

I honestly think #ChangingHistoriesKS3 Expanding Worlds c1600-1900 is the The Godfather Part II/ The Dark Knight of the history textbook world. Connected Worlds is brilliant but Book 2 is even better. (Screenshot from X/Twitter as HodderHistory has yet to make the move to BlueSky! 😅)

Happy publication day to @petejackson.bsky.social for his new Edexcel Weimar and Nazi Germany book. Pete has been brilliant to work with. Based around cog sci principles this is the only textbook on the market that accounts for the new content and assessment changes introduced by Pearson this year.
