Check out the commentaries to our paper, as well as our response! For those interested in cognitive dissonance, I think these make for an interesting read.

What is the status of Nisbett & Wilson's (1978) Telling More Than We Can Know paper? Are there any good replications/reviews? (I couldn't find any quickly).

Does generalized prejudice extend across species lines?

I used data from the LISS panel & the European Values Study to test if people who devalue human outgroups also tend to devalue the welfare and interests of non-human animals.

I feel like social media has failed me. Somehow I didn't hear about this failure to replicate the induced compliance paradigm for cognitive dissonance: journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.... - would love to hear what people closer to this research make of the finding.

Very pleased to see this project led by @vaidis.bsky.social and @willemsleegers.bsky.social published! If you have any interest in the replicability (or lack thereof) of a classic cognitive dissonance paradigm you'll want to read the paper 👇

Time to be more active on social media, starting with a tidystats update. I've been working on a big update, both to the R package and the Word add-in. I just submitted the update to Microsoft, so hopefully it will be available soon!
