Also interesting: There’s an alternate take of “Androgynous” where you can hear different bum notes on the piano at the end. That means the fumbled ending on the official release wasn’t just an accident. They wanted it to sound tossed off like that.

The live recording catches them on a good night in 1984. They could play well when they wanted to. Unfortunately, the sound quality of the recording is not good.

FWIW, I posted something on FB about how the military should disobey an illegal order, and an old college friend chimed in to say they *must* disobey illegal orders. He is a lawyer and a Republican who had stopped talking to me years ago over politics.

I still don’t understand how the remaining legit reporters keep from laughing at him. (They’ve stuffed the WH press pool with various right wing bloggers and podcasters.)

It’s interesting to remember that she got a lot of sympathy from non-Fox viewers (even got a show on NBC) after Trump made horrible, misogynistic remarks about her.

Someone could write a good chin-scratcher out of this and the Michael Wolff emails: Can a journalist build a relationship with a sleazy source without becoming sleazy themselves? Does it take a certain type of person to become that journalist, or does the job do it to them?
