8/ There is a lot of really interesting research being done on the mind-body interface, on predictive processing and on he role of interoception in FND. This book by Lisa Feldman Barrett and is an easy read and should be compulosry reading for ALL neuro AHPs. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

So where can I learn how to use PRPP? In the UK, we now have our first trainers: www.prpp-uk.com The next course starts tomorrow so you are too late for that, but keep an eye out for more courses in the UK, as well as Australia, Canada, Scandinanvia. I did my intervention course in Switzerland...

1) You have free choice of task/activity. As long as it breaks in to steps, you can use it. So simple tasks (pouring a glass of water) whole tasks (brushing teeth), whole activities (making a meal), or a routine,(getting ready for work). This means you can choose relevant/meaningful tasks.

It has two arms, an assessment arm & an intervention arm. The intervention arm is a criterion referenced and uses task-analysis. It gives a score of task mastery, a profile of errors & analyses peformance in domains of function, based on information processing theory. So why do I like it so much?
