If a writer says any part of their work "doesn't matter," then don't read them. Their love of the craft is suspect, and as such, so should their writing be. If they feel something is superfluous, they should rewrite or omit.
Any writer who thinks using generative AI for "transitions" and other things that "don't matter" has a fundamental misunderstanding of both the art and craft of writing.

Suspension of the NIH and National Science Foundation funding has no net benefit for this country. It can only harm us, our well-being, our innovation, and our ability to compete globally in innovations.

I LOVE going literally anywhere with my wife. Grocery shopping, restaurants... hell, even the DMV is bearable with her in tow. We make each other happy, and we SHARE in household responsibilities. That's what adults do. That's what partners do. That's what a healthy relationship looks like.
