This is Lacewood. It has large medullary rays which are basically cells that carry nutrients through the tree. See those things that look like almond slivers? Those are big ass cells.

Last weekend was Pride, Otakuthon, and Metallica all at the same time in Montreal. It was like the holy trinity for our studio. Really made taking the metro interesting!
