Did you really expect this Liberal banker to be an ally of indigenous people? Liberals and Tories have been taking turns stealing from indigenous people since Canada was formed. It's horrendous, but that's the truth.

Liberals, like the Conservatives, hate to help workers. They're controlled by the oligarchs who finance their party. Just like the old USA. So vote Liberal, if you have to, but don't expect them to help workers unless they have to get the NDP to support them in a minority government.

It was never the right of all the desperate. Only if you were European, especially Christian, northern European. Think of the desperate Jews fleeing the looming holocaust, the Chinese exclusion Bill. etc. Sloppy sloganeering causes me to thing less of this book.
