Imagine needing support and to prove you're human or whatever you have to fill in 7 (!) of these things.

Can you guess which platform this is from?
Honestly this one is hard to explain so please bear with me: it's a "are you human" type captcha screen titled "Use the arrows to find the distance between the two cars that matches the left image (1 of 7)". Below that are two square images; the first one is a number - in this case 0, below it reads 'Distance between cars' - and the second image shows a top view of two cars riding on separate roads, to the left of the roads is an indication of distance (I think?) ranging from 50 to 55. You can cycle through different pictures with the cars moving position along the indicators. I suspect you match up the cars in the correct 'distance' from each other by choosing the image where they are positioned so. Confused? Yes so am I. There's a submit button below, as well as an audio button I dared not press, and a restart button.

The first post by user exeggcute reads: the command line feels so personal... like how some people say when they pray they're talking directly to god but instead I'm talking directly to the computer The second post below it by user datafags, in response to the first reads: windows traps your computer inside a little cage and only lets you see it to execute random code from github every 2 months. mac puts your computer in a separate room and you can open the door and see it and say hi sometimes. linux makes you touch the computer and make out with it and fuck it

If you are a business or marketeer and think "well that's good for us, isn't it?" then consider that this drives up advertiser expenses too.

It's especially bad for the company whose name has been appended to your search, because Google has a protection racket where the company that matches your search has to pay extra in order to show up overtop of rivals who are worse matches. Both the matching company and those rivals have given Google a credit-card that Google gets to bill every time a user searches on the company's name, and Google is just running fraudulent charges through those cards.
