Interesting thread about Kubrick and his use of sound. He really liked mono.
Crazy that you can no longer hear the original mono sound designs for A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, THE SHINING, and FULL METAL JACKET. The only versions available are the remixed 5.1 versions, which often feature different sounds.

Wow, the production sound team on #Adolescence achieved something incredible. If anyone has some background info on how that was pulled off let me know. I've seen the BTS clips but no mention on how the sound was recorded. How many boom ops they had etc.
