Minke whales regularly occur in CA waters but aren't to see! Minke whales don't have a visible blow or predictable surfacing pattern. Catching a glimpse is a rare treat!
The smallest baleen whale in the N-hemi can reach up to 35ft / 20tons. Minke whales primarily feed on small fish & plankton.
