My letter in the Irish Tines today about the ongoing catastrophe being wrought upon the Palestinians by Israel, and the profound repercussions that the failure to act will have on us all

This is how the climate crisis hits us all- if you can’t get a mortgage you can’t buy (or sell) a house, so house prices in huge swathes of developed nations plummet, causing a global financial crisis like 2008 on speed. Then a mad bottle neck for houses in relatively safer regions. Buckle up!

My morning commute to hospital this morning in Galway, Ireland. Cars were stuck bike was only option! Had to turn the dog around at the end of the road though 😂

A small pocket of rich diverse woodland in the otherwise barren landscape of Connemara, Ireland. Existing simply because it’s too steep for the ubiquitous sheep to graze.

Half the landscape could be covered in forest and there would still be plenty of space for farmers and sheep. Let’s #rewild

It’s such a joy pottering in the garden growing veg and then feasting on them with friends. Getting together with a few other Moycullen locals to form a collective and share seeds, stories, produce and knowledge. Open to all, from amateurs to pros! 🌱🙌

Spent the day in the garden planting hundreds of bulbs: wood anemone, bluebells and daffodils. 10/10 would recommend. Focus on this things you can control and bring a bit of beauty into the world to counter all the craziness 🌱
