This is what happened to me in the reactions when I tried to get to get Chaya Raichik, aka Libsoftiktok, a Brooklyn real estate developer, to address the price of rent. Yup. They just blame brown people.

I get it that everyone’s sick of screen caps from X that have anything to do with Brianna Wu but looking back more calmly at this, I think I hit on the fact that there’s a lack of imagination among self proclaimed “anti-woke” libs/centrists in terms of what they ARE rather than what they aren’t.
