The current practices of immigration enforcement agencies are disturbing. Their powers, which should be limited to federal immigration law, are increasingly wielding authority in the public sphere like ordinary police officers, without corresponding transparency and accountability.

If a government needs to instill fear to enforce the law, then the system is flawed.
Immigration is not the threat; out-of-control law enforcement is.
We have the right to better answers.
We have the right to demand an end to these raids that harm communities.
Without justice, there is no security.
