I don't think enough people appreciate how many of the basic perks of modern employment (weekends, paid overtime, parental leave, etc.) only exist because of unions. Every. Single. Worker benefits from unions, even if you've never been a member. Defend collective bargaining.

Our Wilco Rep., John Bucy, was directly threatened as one of the 13 Democrats singled out by AG Ken Paxton. This is because they see him as we do, a fighter. We are fully behind him and the entire caucus to stay out of Texas to continue this fight.

Think about what the GOP is revealing with their attempt to suddenly change the Congressional maps: they know their agenda is so unpopular that they're going to lose unless something changes.

We stand with our Representatives in standing up to these anti-American Redistricting efforts by Donald Trump and Texas Republicans led by Gregg Abbott. Breaking quorum is not done lightly, but we fully support them in fighting back on these attacks on voters and their representation.
