Every year when I look back I find moments of nostalgia, even after the darkest of times and hardest challenges. The difficulty and misery of the moment is ephemeral and the happiness distills into lasting memory. Nothing lasts. I’m not going to spend my time engaging with a light up box of hate.

@conorlambpa.bsky.social just got your substack, great stuff, how about we ante up even a bit more. Instead of just solving crimes, let’s attack the root cause of crime: poverty, lack of social mobility, inequity, etc. Let’s stop making it the cops’ problem and focus on the actual societal issues.
