All I know, is if my job review was 43% rating, at the very least I'd be suspended.

We didn’t send a DART, but the USAID team we *did* send, we…fired.

While they were there, doing what we sent them for.

Asking someone to list the 5 things they did last week screams out-of-touch middle manager behavior. We've all endured that clueless boss who has no idea what our job entails and the resentment that follows. It's the epitome of micromanagement, and this is Elon Musk.

Call it cynicism or call it indifference,
We don't need a reason or plot.
Our choice of inaction's a cruel insistence,
And leaves the fruit of the vine to rot.

Cutting government programs is like skipping car maintenance to save money. At first, it seems like a smart move, but soon you're stuck on the side of the road, paying for costly repairs, and wishing you'd just done the regular tune-ups. Both choices lead to bigger problems down the road!

Ever feel like you're trying to play a fair game, but your opponent is bribing the referee? Worse is, they are doing it front of everyone, and although people are complaining, no one really does anything.

..He appeared to ascend
So we all stood there in awe
Now we have to pretend
We didn't see what we saw

When the curtain unveiled
To the sound of applause
That the king that we hailed
Was the Wizard of Oz..

If you are hosting a party and things are going great, but then someone one shows up with a stick and starts hitting people with it you'd kick them out right? The same rule should apply online. If you establish a group dialogue and one guy is insulting people, you show them the virtual door.

The U.S. consumes over 3 billion pounds of coffee each year. Hawaii is the only state that grows coffee, and last year, they only produced 11 million pounds of it. This means that we import nearly 100% of our coffee, but sure, we'll just grow it ourselves.

Gummibär is a character that sings happy birthday half shaven and in his underwear. Everyone likes him, but when I do it, I'm told I have a drinking problem and I'm banned from Chucky Cheese.

If you have $1 billion, you can spend $25k a day and it would take you over 109 years to spend it all. Think about that for a second $25k a day! Most of us would be happy if we could spend $250 a day. A billionaire can spend 100 times that much and die before they would spend it all.
