In an unfortunate loss to the meteorological community, the university of Nebraska Lincoln has officially eliminated all atmospheric sciences from its university. (BS/MS/PHD)

A road is closing in the meteorology world. The University of Nebraska Lincoln is eliminating all of its Earth science and meteorology department to save the university from financial deficit. UNL was a prominent university for meteorological research. This is quite sad.
