About once a year I get a view like this from my back door.
It could be a worse night for my insomnia to resurface. Sure, I may have to drive my husband to work 45 mins away in the morning. Yes, it is below freezing now & is only expected to drop more. But tomorrow there's no school, so I can lag all day when I get home for as long as much schedule allows.

I got my chinchillas some edible toys today, so they are thrilled. Also filed taxes, because they terrify me & I needed it over with already.

Today has been a crap day in parts, but it has also had its nice moments. I'm gonna hold onto the good moments. The bad moments may drown me.

I'm currently dealing with a dripping faucet type of nose, so this definitely hits home for me.

My anti-anymore-pets SO went to visit our neighbor to borrow some screws & came home with a tiny little Merlin. He's supposedly a Chihuahua, but I will withhold my belief in that until he gets older bc I think he looks like a Feist. He is so skinny!
